It is an honor to continue working as an assistant principal at Hazel Green High School. I am excited to work alongside my friends and neighbors in my community.
I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Athens State University. I graduated from The University of Alabama with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.
I began as a 4th and 5th grade teacher at Hazel Green Elementary before I transitioned to administration at Harvest Elementary. From Harvest, I began working at Hazel Green High School in September, 2015.
My husband Randy (a Hazel Green graduate) and I have been married for 23 years, and we have two sons in college, both of which are proud graduates of Hazel Green High School. We have a host of family and friends that are proud to be members of our great school.
I am continuously excited to work with Hazel Green family, friends, and students. As assistant principal over Special Education, 504, and attendance, I am eager to work with the teachers and students to help make a positive impact on students and our community.
I believe that all students can learn at high levels and I am excited to help students on their path to graduation and beyond from Hazel Green High. I am proud to be part of the Trojan Nation, and look forward to helping our students transition to their future goals.
